Process Engineer

Job Summary

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing machine efficiency, supporting production targets, and ensuring smooth operations in the straw and closure production areas. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, coordinate cross-functional processes, and ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Additionally, you will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and respond promptly to any issues to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.

This is an individual contributor role based in Rayong, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

What you will do

As our process engineer , you will;

• Production Line Efficiency
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Take immediate action to resolve production issues, including stopping the line when necessary.
  • Benchmark performance against other factories and implement best practices.
• Process & Quality Control
  • Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are met in line with Tetra Pak guidelines.
  • Develop, issue, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyze incidents and support both internal and external audits.
• Continuous Improvement & WCM
  • Lead and actively participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities.
  • Drive root cause analysis and lead problem-solving initiatives.
  • Promote a zero-loss mindset across the production team.
• Training & Development
  • Create training materials and deliver sessions for operators and technicians.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, standards, and production trials.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant SOPs and documentation.

We believe you have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or technical role within a multinational manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and loss elimination techniques.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM), particularly in Quality or Maintenance, is a strong advantage.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
• Demonstrated ability to identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, performance-driven production environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Thai, with a good command of English, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
