Job Summary

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to be responsible for order supply, meet customer’s requirements to satisfy their needs on time and specifications.
The position is based in Queretaro factory, Mexico, reporting to Planning & Logistics Manager.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do

As Warehouse Team Leader you will: 

  • Manage end to end material flow in the factory.
  • Manage factory warehouse team.
  • Lead WCM (World Class Manufacturing) teams and improvements activities 
  • Loss intelligence of KPIs (warehouse cost, capacity, lead time, logistics TIs, perfect order, and safety)
  • Logistics supplier management
  • Business expert in SAP
  • Lead stock inventory management
  • Ensure compliance to regulations and procedures (OEA, FDA, ISO, BRC)
  • Order supply, meet customer’s requirements to satisfy their needs on time and specifications. 
  • Manage third parties (external warehouses, waste handling, material handling equipment)
  • Evaluate use of technologies to improve logistics (safety and productivity)
  • Participation on continuous improvement strategies within the World Class Manufacturing methodology
  • Participation on continuous improvement with ISO 9000, 14000,

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish Language
  • 5 years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
  • SAP R3 management is a must.
  • Proven experience leading and directed work teams. 
  • Desirable to be certificated as Green Belt. 
  • Knowledge in Continuous improvement strategies. 
  • Knowledge in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 and other quality standards.
