Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality & Focused Improvement Engineer Jr. who will be responsible for ensuring that all human, technological, and methodological resources are available in a timely manner to meet the area's quality standards. You will also be responsible for improving and implementing the Quality Pillar Methodology and leading the site's Zero-Defect System. Additionally, you will oversee the SPC strategy at the site, ensuring critical quality points are effectively monitored and continuously improved.
The position is based in Querétaro, México.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Quality & Focus Improvement Engineer Jr, you will:
- Develop a master plan of improvement activities and ensure its execution across all involved areas.
- Identify priorities, eliminate quality losses, and launch improvement teams. Provide training and methodological support.
- Conduct loss analyses, examine deviations, and differentiate between human and machine losses.
- Responsible for the implementation of Statistical Process Control in the factory.
- Waste Management: Owner of Total Waste (Process & Defect Waste).
- Base Material Management: Handle Quality issues from base materials, supplier evaluation.
- Drive initiatives and teams to improve productivity.
- Responsible to ensure the Zero-Defect system.
- Responsible of KPI such as EE & OEE.
- Responsible on the implementation and improvement of the Quality Pillar Methodology & Focus Improvement Pillar.
- Knowledge WCM methods and tools applicability.
We believe you have
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or similar engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience. SPC, TPM, related experience would be a plus.
- Proficient in English language.
- Experience in SAP software.
- WCM methods and tools applicability
- Knowledge of Power BI would be a plus.
