Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated person to reinforce the Field Service Operations team.  

As a Service Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services. 

You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service.  

Tetra Pak will give you the opportunity to increase your knowledge and gain experience in the mechanics and electronics by performing services on our clients’ sites in France. 

Expected travelling of more than 80% within France (and occasionally other EU countries).

What you will do

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance on Tetra Pak Packaging Equipment  
  • Drive continuous improvement at the customer's plant 
  • Preparing quality reports in a timely manner: technical assistance reports, maintenance reports etc 
  • Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers including support and follow-up on customers’ concerns and problems. 
  • Drive Issue Resolution, by communicating with customers and internally within the company. 

We believe you have

  • Technical education in Electromechanics. 
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience of industrial installations, maintenance and/or service work 
  • Enthusiastic, service oriented and flexible team player 
  • No nonsense attitude, able to take responsibility for customer equipment and satisfaction   
  • English and French knowledge in word and writing
  • Computer skills (MS Office skills) 
  • Compliance with all safety regulations 
  • Experience in food processing is a plus (dairy, beverage, cheese, prepared food) 
  • Great problem-solving skills  
  • It is a big plus if you know our Packaging equipment (Filling machines & Distribution equipment)  
  • Knowledge in PLC and HMI is an added advantage 
  • Class B driver's license
