Job Summary
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the technical study and execution of projects in compliance with the defined process. In close collaboration with the Project Manager, Sales Engineers, and Automation Project Manager, the Senior Process Engineer ensures the economic and technical performance of the projects they participate in. They are the guarantor of the technical solutions used, the proposed processes, and the quality of the work carried out. Additionally, they ensure the capitalization of projects, thereby guaranteeing the improvement and standardization of our technical solutions and methods.
You will be based at our offices in La Défense, Paris.
Position Details:
Full-time position based in Paris (La Défense)
This role is full-time with a 50% remote working option (hybrid model).
It also includes 30% business travel to customer sites.
What you will do
Your Responsibilities:
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will support project execution activities in France and the Benelux region, including:
- Providing process engineering and technical support during sales, design, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Developing PFDs/P&IDs and layout plans.
- Calculating piping, pumps, and valves used in the food industry.
- Creating technical descriptions and functional process specifications.
- Creating project documentation, including test specifications.
- Managing the CE marking process.
- Planning engineering and commissioning activities in collaboration with the Tetra Pak project team and customer teams.
- Conducting installation completion inspections, commissioning, and hygiene audits on-site.
- Updating process documentation in line with any changes made during commissioning.
- Participating in commercial tenders and process design as needed.
We believe you have
Experience:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Food & Beverage industry (preferably liquid processes). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others are essential.
- Proficiency in computer tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP would be an advantage.
- Strong aptitude for acquiring technical and quality concepts related to Tetra Pak Processing activities.
Languages:
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
- Fluent French (C2 level)
