We deliver world-class processing solutions and services to our customers, and we’re looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our team. If you’re passionate about leading complex projects, driving results, and making an impact in the food industry, this is your opportunity. 

What you will do

As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will take full ownership of commissioning activities at customer sites, ensuring successful start-up and performance of food processing lines. Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead commissioning plans for complex processing systems, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. 
  • Execute commissioning plans, including:  
  1. I/O checks 
  2. Water flush 
  3. CIP set-up and validation 
  4. Water trial 
  5. Production trial 
  6. Shelf-life trial 
  • Optimize plant operations to meet commissioning and performance guarantee targets. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, automation, quality, and customer stakeholders) to achieve project milestones. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during start-up phases. 
  • Ensure compliance with Tetra Pak standards, customer requirements, and local regulations. 
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 

We believe you have

  • You are a results-driven leader with strong technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills. You thrive in dynamic environments and can manage multiple stakeholders with confidence. 
  • Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, or related field). 
  • Experience: 7+ years in commissioning, process engineering, or project execution in the food or beverage industry.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of food processing systems, automation, and commissioning methodologies. 

Soft Skills:  

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure. 
  • Leadership and team coordination experience. 
  • Languages: Fluent in both French and English.
