Job Summary

The job as Master Data Specialist requires a quality mindset in regard to the data entered into the system and an ad hoc capability to support the organization when required that gives a brought contact surface into the local but also external sites and people.  

 

You will be part of a dynamic and challenging environment where your personality can shape your area of expertise with Master Data. The area you will be a part of is on a constant evolving level where business understand the ever-growing need for higher level of master data gives new areas to address and new exciting topics to implement.

 

The position is based in France.

What you will do

Collect Material Master Data

  • Validate and check MDM requests 
  • Check if requested data is correct, complete and appropriate
  • Ownership, Weight, Denomination, Manufacturer & Manufacturer ID 

 

Confirm Request in MDM tool

  • Request approved, clarification from Approver / Requester
  • Reject request and inform Requester about reason 

 

Extend Material to local Plant level
Secure that all local relevant master data is entered

  • Extend component to local plants
  • Change local master data as requested 

Project management (lead, coordinate, facilitate, participate within RSS projects and participate in global projects)

Work closely with cross-functional teams

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology or related discipline
  • 2-3 years of ERP Master Data creation with a focus on Material/Item Masters
  • Fluent level of English and French is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office, Power BI, SAP is an advantage
  • Good administrative and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
