Job Summary

We are currently seeking for a mativated and self.driven individual for a Credit Collection Analyst position, to; independently investigate credit standing of customers, give recommendations within defined procedures and practices, arranges terms of payment and follow up the collection of accounts, participate in Credit committee and customer follow-up, participate in dicussions on credit and collection issues internally and/with customers, propose improvements to processes and methods as needed and actively participate in solving complex issues regarding Credit and Collection.

The position is located in Paris, France.

What you will do

Credit:

  • Support the Credit Manager & perform customer related credit risk analysis
  • Financial risk analysis / ratio calculations
  • Initiate risk analysis for credit limit & update credit limits/rating in SAP
  • Analyse and manage the orders blocked 
  • Make the risk assessment for new customer / prospect 
  • Check that new customers are not blacklisted 
  • Participate to the Credit Committee (quarterly)

Collection:

  • Manage and monitor customer collection 
  • Act as business partner with various stakeholders internal and external
  • Identify disputes and coordinate action plans with related owner within the organisation to avoid / limit overdues
  • Check-out monthly receivables dashboard and SAP/BO/PowerBI arbitration
  • Address the questions raised by auditors / hub and review the collection process
  • Support to the Hub Finance for payment allocation
  • Cash Collection on projects (PSE) follow-up 
  • Statement Of Account process continuous improvement
  • Late payment fees calculation 

Monthly Cash Flow Forecast for Market France/Benelux (12 legal entities)

  • Coordinate the MCFO process for entities in FR and BNL
  • Propose to the Finance Director the MCFO for the 12 rolling month 
  • Analyse the actual of prior month 
  • Implement a continuous improvement process to reduce as much as possible deviations
  • Collaborate to MCFO Automation project (actual and forecast)
  • Accuracy monthly follow-up 

Other activities:

  • Provide support to Finance Manager & Credit & Collection Manager
  • Creation and maintenance of procedures / guidelines
  • Filing and archiving of contractual documents
  • Be a back-up whenever needed on other activities managed by the Credit, Collection & Treasury Department (e.g. Bank related activities, cash flow allocation, etc.) 
  • Hedging activity 
     

 

We believe you have

  • Relevant educational background
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a related field
  • Fluency in English (Dutch would be an advantage)
  • T and office tools expertise: SAP, Excel, BO, PowerBi
  • Autonomy 
  • Accounting knowledge / financial statement analysis
  • Accuracy
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and good eye for detail
  • Excellent communications skills to handle difficult discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience and understanding of handling sensitive and confidential information
