Job Summary

Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the Information Management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Pak’s Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Global IM has approx. 900 employees in four main sites: Chakan in India, Lund in Sweden, Denton in the USA and in Singapore. 

 

  • We are based in Chakan, Pune

  • Transport Services Provided, Work Mode : Hybrid : 2 days' Work from Home and 3 days' Work from Office.

  • Work from Office timings: IST 07:30 am to IST 04:30 pm 

What you will do

• Design, integration, testing, installation, and support of the APS wireless network infrastructure. 
• Lead wireless network engineering services in support of Customer WAN, LAN & WLAN data network. 
• Perform routed/switched network design activities on HP routers & switches, Xirrus Management System (XMS) & Cisco Meraki cloud management system and wireless access points (WAP) for a large enterprise data network. 
• Works with client support technicians to provide solutions for customers' wireless communications requirements and solutions. 
• Investigates, designs, plans, and implements physical and logical wireless communications networks. 
• Prepares schematics to define and illustrate wireless network design solutions. 
• Prepares work orders containing instructions to be used by client support technicians to configure network hardware and software. 
• Performs access point/router/switch/network hardware and software upgrades. 
• Configures and administers HP switching devices. 
• Provides proactive monitoring of network using network management software configuration and troubleshooting (Cisco Meraki Cloud, HP IMC, Flukes OptiView, Trueview, What’s Up and SNMP). 
• Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation related to the network infrastructure. • Provides capacity planning for internal and external network connections. 
• Required to have prompt, regular attendance in-person and be available to work on-site, in-person during regular business hours and as needed. 
• Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.

We believe you have

EDUCATION:  
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline required.

 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:  
• Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Xirrus Wireless Certification and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) a plus, Cisco Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) preferred.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE: 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wireless network administration.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi protocols including all standards of 802:11a/b/g/N/A.c and supporting protocols including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TCP/IP, UDP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, ACL’s, LDAP etc. 
• Ability to perform Wifi Surveys using tools such as AirMagnet. 
• Must have strong technical and communication skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to apply the concepts and commands required to install, configure and troubleshoot IT equipment in a multi-protocol district wide wireless network with centralized and cloud based control. 
• Must have the ability to be a liaison with local and field engineering team members and contracted vendors in an effort to maintain immediate response to critical requirements and issues impacting school instruction and testing resulting from monitoring and analysis of current data within the wireless system. 
• Maintains familiarity with wireless security and ensure wireless network security is deployed. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
