Job Summary

 


We are looking for a Senior Sales Support Specialist with a strong business drive and communication skills to successfully to grow the Packaging Consumables business.

You will be part of a global and dynamic sales support specialist team within the Product Management Packaging Consumables organization and have close collaboration with Product Managers and Specialists. You will act as a subject matter expert and expert point of contact for the Packaging Consumables category and collaborate cross-functional with Services and Market Operations organizations. 

The position is based in APAC, preferably based in SAM, MSPI or Vietnam. 
The position is a temporary position until April 1 2026.

What you will do

 

As Senior Sales Support Specialist you will: 

 

  • Independently drive activities and coach colleagues and support market needs according to the Services Portfolio Plan in collaboration with Market Operations and Services organizations to grow and protect the Packaging Consumables business. 
  • Identify and drive opportunities for improvements and business growth at market, regional and global level. 
  • Provide deep technical and commercial Packaging Consumables category expertise and guidance to Market Operations in quoting advanced Packaging Consumables products and services and in execution of Services Portfolio Plans.
  • Drive activities related to sales support role in Solution Lifecycle Management process (Customer solution need, New Product Introduction) for product development and deployment. Support portfolio and market with e.g. customer segmentation, market readiness and pilot identification. 
  • Lead/participate in portfolio promotion and training during internal seminars and workshops about Packaging Consumables product and processes to sales and delivery organizations.  
  • Support customer workshops, seminars, trainings, meetings, sales material customization and other presentations together with market sales responsible.
  • Drive defined activities listed in the Packaging Consumables 3-Year Plan and operational plan.
  • Lead yearly pricing margin analysis and simulation for markets, follow up and analyze business results, identify and propose actions required to fulfill annual growth and profitability targets of Packaging Consumables category.
  • Ensure alignment and effective communication with the involved stakeholders internally (Services and Market Operations) and with external suppliers on both operational and business development level to successfully implement the offered solution.
  • Drive and implement continuous improvements for the sales support team to increase quality and productivity in the delivery of sales support. 
  • Provide occasional support to Sales Support Manager.

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or Operations management. 
  • 5 to 10 years of experience working preferably within product & portfolio management, sales management, customer management or operations management. Strongly desired to have experience in a global company.
  • Possess deep expertise on Packaging Consumables portfolio
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
  • Self-motivated and self-reliable attitude with a strong drive and result orientation. 
  • Business oriented mindset, possessing strategic and analytical skills and ability work with a holistic view as well on a detailed level.
  • Effective team player skills with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability easily collaborate cross-functionally and build relations with people on all levels. 
  • Open minded thinking with ability to listen to stakeholders, showing a high level of customer orientation, while being able to effectively drive for results.
