Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst Procurement Ops role key responsibility is to ensure accurate, compliant, and reliable supplier master data that enables seamless procurement and financial operations.This role supports strong data governance, controls, and issue resolution to prevent operational and compliance risks through effective stakeholder collaboration. It also ensures consistency, efficiency, and trust in supplier data across global operations.

This position will be permanently based in Chakan, Pune.

What you will do

  • Supplier Master Data
  • Own creation, modification, and maintenance of supplier master data across systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined policies, SLAs, and approval workflows. Implement automated catalog updates and AI-driven classification to improve searchability and user experience.
  • Ensure high data quality through validations, periodic audits, and adherence to governance standards, including duplicate prevention, tax and bank data accuracy, and compliance with E&C and internal controls.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for procurement, finance, AP, and global stakeholders to resolve supplier data issues, clarify requirements, and ensure timely and accurate master data support.
  • Analyze recurring errors or delays, identify root causes, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, turnaround time, and data reliability.
  • Maintain clear documentation of procedures, controls, and changes; provide regular reporting on volumes, quality metrics, and SLAs; and support audits and reviews as required.
  • Data Quality & Governance
  • Drive data consistency across procurement platforms (SAP ECC, S4/HANA,  Ariba, etc.).
  • Establish automated data validation rules and dashboards for real-time monitoring.
  • Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify and implement process improvements using lean principles and digital tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to deploy RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for repetitive data tasks.
  • Enhance data accuracy and usability through automation and AI.
  • Reduce manual effort and turnaround time for master data activities.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Support digital procurement transformation and continuous improvement.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, Supply Chain, IT, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in master data management, preferably in SAP ECC or S4/HANA.
  • Strong expertise in Supplier Master data management.
  • Awareness about process automation and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for digital transformation.
