Job Summary
The Production Engineer will be responsible for ensuring accurate verification and validation of engineering drawings, preparing precise CAD files for laser cutting operations, and supporting production teams to maintain quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
What you will do
As a Production Engineer you will:
Drawings Verification & Validation
- Review and validate engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerances meet manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with design and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
- CAD Preparation for Laser Cutting
Create and modify CAD drawings suitable for laser cutting machines.
- Optimize designs for material utilization and cutting efficiency.
- Convert files into machine-compatible formats (e.g., DXF).
Production Support
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of cutting programs.
- Troubleshoot issues related to CAD files and machine operations.
- Maintain documentation of revisions and approvals.
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to ISO and internal quality standards.
- Implement best practices for file management and version control.
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related career.
- Experience in role or similar.
- Experience documenting several manufacturing processes.
