Job Summary

 

The successful candidate for this position should be an experienced process engineer with excellent process technology and engineering skills and deep understanding about production solutions in the liquid food industry.

What you will do

  • To technically and commercially develop production solutions including:
  • Technical analysis, documentation and descriptions for quotations
  • Time and Price estimates
  • Develop production solutions by specify and size components, modules and flow equipment as per product and capacities requirements. Design the sanitary flow system for distribution of products and CIP in the plant.
  • Generate the function description ( which will be used for developing automation solution for the plant )  and detailed layout.
  • Prepare consumption data for utility
  • Documentations
  • Customer training
  • Customer meetings, presentations and negotiations.
  • To ensure that any solution proposed or developed above is made with the following attributes in mind:
  • Customer needs
  • Company standards and procedures
  • Relevant and agreed specifications
  • Other contractual obligations
  • To participate, plan / lead on-site commissioning process activities in co-operation with responsible site manager, Automation engineers and customer representatives.
  • In the end of the project to participate and prepare the handover procedure and material for general plant operational support to internal company after sales service department.

We believe you have

  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience working as process engineer in process industries.
    • B.E. / B. Tech.  in Dairy Technology / Food Engineering
    • B.E. / B. Tech.  in Chemical Technology or Mechanical Engineering with experience in Liquid Food/Powder/Prepared Foods Industry 
  • Project work experience on planning, procurement, coordination of detailed design activities, Coordination with internal & external agencies like automation, commercial, procurement, logistics, customer, consultants, sub-suppliers, outsourced agencies
  • Site Coordination (site contractor & site engineers)
  • Technology and process knowledge from the Dairy & Liquid food processing industry. Experience in designing production solutions for Manual and / or automated plants.
  • Expertise in using AutoCAD for process design will be an added advantage
  • Good computer and IT literacy.
  • Ability to work within a team and also independently.
  • Self motivating.
  • Fluent knowledge of English, written and spoken.
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Broad commercial awareness.
  • Have the ability to work under demanding timelines and situations.
  • Positive outlook 
  • Desirable – Having worked with foreign clients.
