Job Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer Expert who will be responsible for optimize manufacturing processes and equipment in support of plant operations. This role involves specifying, designing, procuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment. Additionally, the engineer will industrialize production for both existing and new products and lead transfer projects in collaboration with global stakeholders. This is a permanent position based in Pune Chakan, reporting to the Industrial Engineering Manager.

What you will do

 

As our industrial Engineering Expert you will;

 

  • Drive transfer projects using Early Management methodology.
  • Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Identify needs of tools/templates for smooth production and implement its usage.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production process.
  • Provide training and support to production operators on new processes and procedures.
  • Create documentation (SOPs, mfg manuals, etc.) for new/existing products.
  • Create BOMs from GAD and validate the drawings of parts before manufacturing

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Preferred fields of study: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management or related.
  • Minimum 3-5 years (Full time) of relevant experience, preferably in food industry.
  • Demonstrate technical skills, good knowledge in manufacturing needs.
  • Excellent knowledge and be part of developing necessary standards, guidelines, tools and methods for manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of product portfolio and its functionality.
  • Autodesk CAD tools experience (Inventor, AutoCad)
  • A very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must.
  • An open attitude with strong informal leadership skills
  • Stake holder management skills to complete projects on time.
