Job Summary

Platform Engineering Analyst

As part of this role, you will be part of the team responsible to contribute & drive improvement in the DevOps Platform area closely working with our product development team in the plat-form engineering scope. The role includes contributing and continuously building skills related to DevOps, CI/CD, cloud computing, automation, systems integration, capacity and perfor-mance management, Infrastructure-as-code, and much more.

What you will do

•    Responsible for implementation & providing support related to our development plat-forms and pipelines leveraging various development platforms.
•    Coordinate with various groups and perform troubleshooting related to CI/CD, or is-sues pertaining to GIT, JIRA and Jenkins.
•    Collaborate with team and conduct knowledge sharing sessions.
•    Recommending technologies, designs, and configurations to maximize functionality, security, and automation while minimizing cost. 
•    Explore opportunities to further improve the service and stay on top of the ever-changing technology and security threats. 
•    Responsible for working on developer platform related Change requests & knowledge on CAB processes is required.

We believe you have

 

Technical Skills & Expertise:
•    Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, Ansible etc.
•    Experience in creating & maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) for enabling automated build, test, and deployment of the code.
•    Identify and automate recurring platform administration and maintenance tasks to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Working knowledge of CI/CD patterns using tools such as GIT, JIRA, Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
•    Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
•    Good understanding of cloud networking and security solutions would be a plus.
•    Understanding of various ITIL Processes (i.e., Incident, Knowledge, Problem & Change Management) and how that works in an enterprise environment.
•    Scripting experience - Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing IaC and CI/CD tools.
•    Working knowledge of various open-source technologies and cloud services.
•    Good understanding of containers and Kubernetes.

•    Team player and comfortable conducting knowledge transfer sessions within the team and to stakeholders
