Job Summary
We are looking for a Treasury and Risk Manager – USA&Canada, Mexico and Central America & Caribbean. The position holder is responsible for implementing the cash and risk management strategies and coordinating their processes. This role is focused in improving communication and relationships with different internal areas. You should provide treasury expertise to increase their knowledge in the process and support upcoming changes according to the financial strategies.
The position is based in Polanco, Mexico City, reporting to the Finance Director.
Tetra Pak may sponsor work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Treasury and Risk Manager – USA&Canada, Mexico and Central America & Caribbean you will:
- Lead cash management and forecasting processes (monthly cash flow outlook) in these three markets.
- Lead foreign exchange and interest rate hedging as directed by Tetra Laval.
- Secure the appropriate financial controls for treasury operations as per governance framework.
- Manage renewals and claims of global insurance programs.
- Manage financial institutions local relationship and control of their products and services.
- Support pension plan analysis and discussions.
- Coordinate with risk control assurance team the local risks, and support identifying, evaluating and managing them
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field experience. Master’s degree in BA, Finance or related fields is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken
- Minimum 10 years of accounting/finance experience, of which 7 years of experience in very large and large treasury operations.
- Knowledge of derivative financial instruments, loans and investments.
- Experience working with SAP or another ERP.
- The position holder should have strong analytical capabilities, detail oriented, proactive and oriented to initiate and drive change, strong communications skills and build strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team.
