Job Summary
As Market Operations (MO) Business Controller at Tetra Pak, you will use your finance and analytical skills to support business partners within Processing Solutions & Equipment function that cover every aspect of our customers’ food production, from daily routines to business insights.
You will follow-up on execution of projects and sales, reporting of financial results and performing related analyses. You will work primarily for the Mexican Market.
The position is based in Polanco, Mexico City, reporting to the Finance Director Mexico.
What you will do
As Market Operations Business Controller you will:
- Be responsible for the compilation of data, analysis & structuring of information used by the Processing Solutions & Equipment sales team and Finance Director;
- Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses, and revenues and make recommendations to Processing and Sales Directors;
- Perform detailed variance analysis (Sales, cost, margin) at different levels (e.g., Category, Product, Customer, Project) and drive or recommend corrective actions where needed;
- Perform business case follow-up (actual vs. initial assumptions, benefit realization) on investments and other key business initiatives;
- Support the quarterly forecasting process and annual financial planning, incorporating relevant business and economic indicators when applicable;
- Support the development and implementation of new tools, processes and procedures within own area;
- Conduct and document complex financial analysis projects to support decision-making;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Ensure policies, procedures and guidelines related to own scope are followed and report non-compliant issues to the Finance Director.
We believe you have
- 8 to 10 years of Business Control experience, including financial reporting, process and business understanding;
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields. MBA or equivalent is a plus;
- Strong stakeholder management skills;
- Fluency in English;
- Advanced knowledge of SAP (experience with project controlling is a strong advantage);
- Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills;
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
