Job Summary
Tetra Pak South Africa (Pty) Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated individual to take the challenge and be the member of the Quality Department of the factory in Pinetown.
The position is responsible for factory quality assurance related work. The role provides information for production areas about quality compliance in various ways (instructions, trainings). This responsibilty level is fit for a person who has already started the beginning of his/her career in Quality field in Production area and is eager to acquire further knowledge to improve in this field.
What you will do
- Product Quality Test: Understand all the test methods for quality test, can perform all the test well
- Customer Claim handling: Owner of the KPI/KAI indicator customer issues related
- Waste Management: Owner of Total waste KPI achievement: Driver of total waste continuous improvement:
- Base Material Management: The Owner of Base Material quality losses and driver for "0" impact of factory total waste
- Internal and external communications regarding audits
- Quality system management
We believe you have
- At least 3-5 year QA or related working experience
- WCM skills and knowledge
- Familiar with ISO9001/ISO14001/BRC/ISO22000/OHSAS18001 system SPC, TQM, experience would be a plus
- Experience of Production process is preferred.
- Good MS Office & SAP skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Structured and open-minded personality
- Self starter and self motivated individual who is willing to learn on the job and is able to drive own learning.
- Someone who has technical curiosity, is goal driven and resilient.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with other team members
