Job Summary
We are looking for an expert, who will have direct contact with different stakeholders, inside as outside the organization, and ensure that processes are run with excellence and adequate support. In this role you will an individual contributor, as part of Americas Supplier Management Team in the Finance Hub in Panama. You will be an individual contributor who will support Market Companies in the transactional activities of Purchase to Payment process in collaboration with our suppliers, requestors, and buyers. Business Expert is first line of support one escalated issues within the organization.
The position is based at the Tetra Pak office in Panama City, Panama
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Purchasing Expert you will:
- Be in charge of Purchase to payment process transactional activities
- Place orders to external suppliers
- Make follow up on order confirmation and delivery
- Ensure invoices are received and released
- Make follow up with payment and inform supplier regarding payment status
- Ensures process compliance and stays updated on process development.
- Update key stakeholders on operational purchasing issues and share best practice.
- Understand impact of data accuracy in purchasing orders
- Communicates updates and new developments to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure best service quality is provided to our stakeholders.
- First line support for escalation of PtP issues of indirect purchases.
- PtP stakeholders training
- Follow up on PtP KPI
We believe you have
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting or any related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in purchasing is a must.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- SAP and ARIBA knowledge is mandatory.
- Proactive, adaptable, customer focus, team player, organized.
