Job Summary

 

As an Assistant Manager Purchase to Pay (PtP) Finance you will manage the relevant accounting processes for PTP (Invoice processing and payments) for multiple entities to meet internal and external suppliers and stakeholder needs, in accordance with group business control framework, global processes and requirements. Responsible to apply the group standards in consideration of local/statutory reporting requirements. In finance hub: PtP Finance you will be leading several direct reports within its different areas in a complex environment
The position is based at our Tetra Pak's office in Panama City , Panama.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

 

What you will do

 

As an Assistant Manager PtP Finance you will: 

 

  • Supervise supplier invoice processing and payment teams and ensure compliance of company policies and procedures
  • Deliver relevant SLAs/ KPI’s / metrics
  • Support PtP Process Manager and Process Driver in achieving KPIs and suggesting continuous improvements
  • Identify and implement levels internal process changes including global
  • Streamlining and harmonizing the HUB/local processes
  • Building an efficient and professional HUB/local process team
  • Drive the relevant process making sure on time delivery
  • Participating in cross functional projects
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes in consideration of local/statutory requirements
  • Handle escalation
  • Provide Audit support for the local market for local, statutory and internal audits in coordination with FD (Finance Director)

 

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting/ Finance related areas
  • Proven experience in leading different multicultural teams in a complex environment
  • Experience in workload distribution, follow up and time management of a team
  • Advanced English and Spanish. Portuguese a plus
  • Experience on VIM (Vendor Invoices Management) SAP System and Purchase to Payment Process
  • Drive process simplification and quality
  • Work to resolve cross process issues
  • Collaborate with global process teams for process reviews, projects and local requirements
  • Operational Metrics and KPI’s Follow Up
  • Proactive, adaptable, customer focus, team player and organized
