Internship Program 2026

 

The Tetra Pak Internship Program aims to qualify potential student talents through the experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering opportunities for them to develop on a personal and professional level. Our approach prepares new talents to face their upcoming professional challenges. Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new trainees to put their full potential into action.

 

The position will be based at our Tetra Pak office in Panama City.

 

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

 

What you will do

 

The Engineering Department is committed to enhancing our clients' operations by delivering innovative, customized solutions. Our Process Engineering team collaborates closely with Automation Engineers, Functional Engineers, Project Managers, and the Sales Department to ensure seamless integration across all project phases. We foster a collaborative work environment, with a strong focus on delivering technically sound and value-driven solutions. Our primary challenges lie in accurately understanding client needs and crafting competitive, tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements. Typical deliverables include process flow diagrams, layout designs, and comprehensive engineering documentation.

 

As a Process Engineer Intern, you will:

 

  • Gather and organize technical and operational data to support engineering activities.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and resolution of documentation issues.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and office coordination.
  • Support engineers and project managers with documentation and reporting needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure consistency across internal systems.

 

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor Studies in progress: Engineering in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical; Food and Chemistry just if you are open to learn other engineering areas.
  • Desirable Skills / Knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point). Autocad knowledge and experience from school. English Intermediate– Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
  • Availability for internship: January 19 to December 7, 2026.
  • Graduation expected: December 2026 or afterwards.
  • Availability to work and commute to our site 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5pm, during the full internship program.

  • Admission (October 27 – November 14)
