International Welding Engineer

We are looking for an International Welding Engineer ( Quality Inspector Welding Specialist ) who will support internal organisation to solve and prevent complex technical problems both in Mechanical and Automation area. Secure machine documentation in place before deliveries. Contribute to ECM introduction in production. Drive improvement in area of expertise.

You will be based in Olsztyn, Poland 


What you will do:

As an International Welding Engineer you will be responsible for:


•    Introduction of technically and economically optimal welding methods and processes
•    Current analysis of the state of welding technology and techniques along with the assessment of their correctness. Supervision over the implementation of welding processes in production
•    Analysis of the compliance of construction and technical documentation with the applicable welding standards
•    Development of specialized documentation of welding technology, such as Factory Welding Technological Instruction WPS, welding plans
•    Keeping records of welders and supervising their employment in the scope of their qualifications. Planning of welding training and verification of welders' qualifications
•    Supervision over the correct use of additional materials and the use of machines and devices for welding
•    Verification of corrective actions
•    Cooperation with external welding supervision units - Instytut Spawalnictwa, UDT, TÜV, SLV
•    Consultation of activities with the immediate supervisor and relevant services in the company
•    Participation in welding audits

Who you are:

We believe you have:


•   Technical education, having the appropriate qualifications to perform the function of the main welder (IWE)
•    1-2 years of working experience in a similar position
•    Knowledge of standards, guidelines and regulations in the field of conducting welding processes
•    Knowledge of materials science and welding processes
•    Welcome program support: Inventor
•    Fluent in Polish and intermediate in English, both written and verbal is a must
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programmes required
