Job Summary

 

Tetra Pak Food Engineering provides sales and services on processing plants within food, diary & beverage industry in Italy. Within the Processing Cluster, we are looking for a Service Automation Engineer who can perform corrective maintenance, services and troubleshooting assistance over food processing equipment. You will also be involved in the installation and commissioning of processing equipment and provide technical training to our customers.

This is a permanent position based in Monza, Italy, but you will be required to travel 80% of working time at customers sites.

What you will do

 

  • You will have the full responsibility to perform at customer site or remotely activities related to automation and electrical system: commissioning, service intervention, troubleshooting and fault findings 
  • Provide technical reports and suitable recommendations in order to ensure customer reliability about Tetra Pak’s services 
  • Drive customer to upgrade existing machine/plant, in order to maintain the highest grade of efficiency and performance guarantee 
  • The job includes frequent travels throughout Italy (approx. 80% of the time) and, being part of a cluster Service Organization, you might also be required to travel abroad. 

We believe you have

 

  • You are fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken 
  • You have developed specific competences on automation with special regard to PLC troubleshooting and development 
  • You have skills on automation with special regard to Siemens, Rockwell and Intouch platforms 
  • Knowledge on liquid food preparation process, electric instrumentation, mainly oriented to the troubleshooting and fault findings is a plus 
  • You have a technical education in process engineering, Electric and Electronic components 
  • You have good command of computer skills 
  • You have good interpersonal, communication and team working skills 
  • You have “problem solving” approach, you are methodical and efficient
