Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Tactical Buyer, who will work for Mexico and Brazil markets.   
In this role you will be preparing negotiations using thorough quotation analysis, technically and commercially, supported by your stakeholders' teams.
This is a temporary position for 1 year and will be based in Monte Mor, Brazil.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
This is a sensitive position according the AEO Sensitive Positions policy in Brazil.

 

What you will do

 

As a Tactical Buyer you will: 

 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the pipeline of projects/purchases and execute according to the needs, following current policies.
  • Drive Local Sourcing and Contracting process.
  • Drive supplier development activities (sourcing), together with stakeholders.
  • Support Strategic Supply Management by maintaining and improving the supplier base in relation to quality, capacity and cost reduction.
  • Relationship management; ensure good relations with stakeholders, both externally and internally.
  • Supplier relationship Management: ensure right communications between Tetra Pak and Suppliers. Promote a sense of collaboration to improve supplier performance.
  • Drive negotiation and contracting, considering contracts, bank guarantees, specifications in correct order of importance. 
  • Ensure supplier contract legal compliance with support from legal department.
  • Ensure purchasing deliverables meet business objectives in time, cost, and quality, while maintaining good relationship with stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives related to current way of working and be a change agent promoting efficiencies in the process.
  • Ensure Purchase to Payment compliance. Drive process improvement initiatives.

 

We believe you have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering related fields.
  • Purchasing experience, will be a plus within manufacturing environment, parts components, equipments and maintenance services.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Fluent in Spanish and Portugues language
  • English language will be a plus
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into effective and efficient contracts.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Desire experience with Sap, Ariba sourcing and contracting, P2O 
  • Strong communicational skills
