We are looking for a Renovation Engineer to be responsible and accountable for the refurbishment and performance of second-hand capital equipment, ensuring that renovation activities are carried out in line with defined technical, quality, and safety standards. This role plays an important part in enabling installation sales results and ensuring equipment performs reliably throughout its lifecycle. In this position, you will work hands-on within the Renovation Centre, taking ownership of refurbishment activities from execution through performance outcomes. You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers when required, with a strong focus on equipment performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
This is a technical, execution-focused role with clear accountability, offering exposure to complex equipment and the opportunity to contribute directly to business and operational results.
You will be based in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil.
You may be required to travel up to 30% of your time.

What you will do
As a Renovation Engineer, you will:
- Be responsible and accountable for the refurbishment and performance of second-hand capital equipment, ensuring compliance with defined quality, safety, and technical standards;
- Act as a technical reference for the assigned equipment, supporting consistent, high-quality refurbishment outcomes;
- Execute renovation activities within the Renovation Centre, following established processes, procedures, and ways of working;
- Support installation sales results through reliable and well-performed equipment refurbishment;
- Contribute to working capital improvement by participating in stock and work-in-progress activities;
- Track, report, and follow up on key performance indicators related to renovation activities;
- Apply global processes, tools, guidelines, and templates consistently in daily work;
- Perform equipment de-installation and installation activities when required;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution;
- Participate in the evaluation and follow-up of external suppliers supporting refurbishment activities;
- Ensure all activities are performed in line with safety, quality, and compliance requirements;
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, efficiency, and reliability.
We believe you have
- An engineering degree in Mechatronics or Electronics, or a closely related field experience, with strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial automation;
- Hands-on experience working with Tetra Pak equipment, which is considered highly desirable;
- Solid knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles, including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement practices;
- Experience working in industrial automation environments, including programmable logic systems and Rockwell-based platforms;
- English skills sufficient to understand technical manuals, procedures, and written communication such as emails;
- Familiarity with the Quality and Technical Issue Platform (QuTI‑P) or similar quality and technical issue management systems is considered a plus;
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment with a strong focus on equipment performance and quality.
