And we need people like you to make it happen.

We empower you to reach your potential with opportunities to  make an impact to be proud of – for food, people and the planet.

Job Summary

As a global leader in food processing and packaging, Tetra Pak delivers world-class, cutting-edge solutions that help ensure food safety and quality across the globe. Our portfolio spans advanced technologies and services that drive innovation and support our customers in optimizing performance, reducing environmental impact, and meeting the ever-changing needs of the food industry. But beyond the solutions we design, it’s the people behind them who make the difference — talented professionals driven by purpose, innovation, and a shared commitment to protecting what’s good.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Brazil, part of the Latin America Project Centre within our Processing Solutions & Equipment (PSE) business unit. PSE provides advanced technologies and integrated solutions for food processing and packaging, helping customers improve efficiency, ensure food safety, and reduce environmental impact.

In this role, you will lead medium to large-scale projects that often involve installing integrated food processing and packaging lines at customer sites. These projects are high-impact and high-value, requiring strong project management expertise, technical understanding of the food industry, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder networks. You will also play a key role in developing project teams — fostering collaboration, building cohesiveness, and motivating individuals to ensure efficiency and boost morale across diverse project environments.

Success in this position depends on effective and assertive communication. You will manage expectations and maintain engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, from customers and suppliers to technical experts and business leaders, throughout the entire project lifecycle.  You will work at the intersection of technology, operations, and sustainability — managing projects that shape the future of food systems. You’ll gain exposure to diverse markets, collaborate with global experts, and develop solutions that make a tangible difference for customers and consumers worldwide.

You will be based in Monte Mor, Brazil.
You may be required to travel to customer sites up to 50% of your time.
Tetra Pak does not offer support for visa or relocation for this position.

We strongly encourage applications from individuals belonging to underrepresented or minorized groups, including women, Black, Indigenous, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and others.

What you will do

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for project success, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and Tetra Pak’s sustainability and quality standards;
  • Define, drive and communicate project objectives, deliverables, and plans, including risk management, procurement strategies, and systematic quality activities to meet standards;
  • Develop and control project budgets, ensuring financial discipline and transparency;
  • Build and lead the project organization based on deliverables, defining roles and responsibilities, and fostering collaboration, motivation, and high performance across diverse teams;
  • Ensure rigorous budget control and adherence to compliance governance, applying financial discipline and corporate standards throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Develop and implement communication plans that keep stakeholders informed and engaged, while managing contractual arrangements and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams;
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards;
  • Represent Tetra Pak in customer interactions, building trust and long-term partnerships through proactive communication and problem-solving and internal stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships and consistent alignment.

We believe you have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience;
  • A solid background in project management, with proven ability to lead complex, high-value projects involving multiple stakeholders and technical domains;
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices, ideally aligned with PMI (Project Management Institute) standards, and formal studies or certification in Project Management;
  • Experience in managing integrated projects within industrial or technical environments — exposure to food processing and packaging is a plus, but not mandatory;
  • Full professional proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, both written and spoken (mandatory);
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholder networks, influence without formal authority, and build trust across all levels of the organization;
  • Capacity to navigate uncertainty and adapt to changing conditions while maintaining focus on objectives and quality standards;
  • Strong skills in budgeting, financial control, and compliance governance throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Proficiency with project management tools and systems (Microsoft Project, Excel, SAP or similar), combined with strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a collaborative mindset and a high sense of accountability;
  • Self-motivation, creativity, and resilience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in dynamic environments.

We Offer You

  • A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape
  • A culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible results
  • An equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusion
  • Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangements
