Job Summary

 

Product Development Center (PDC/Pilot Plant) of Monte Mor is a small factory with equipment for producingthe most diverse types of products (Milk, flavored milk, drinks with a high protein, plant based, creams, etc.)Using our pilot facilities, customers can carry out tests on a reduced scale, creating formulas and finding themost suitable technologies for their products with the full support of Tetra Pak and its expertise, this way wecan accelerate their launches and innovations. We are looking for a Pilot Plant Engineer who can be part of theteam carrying out PDC testing and provide an excellent customer experience during PDC trials, ensuringquality and food safety.


You may be required to travel 10 % of your time.

 

This position is based in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil.

 

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

 

As a Pilot Plant Engineer, you will:

 

  • Deliver high quality operation and maintenance of process equipment’s;
  • Inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment;
  • Diagnosis and troubleshoot equipment problems;
  • Implementation of process improvements;
  • Execute and document the tests (report, conclusions, recommendations);
  • Total focus on the customer, helping to process your product and extract all the data;
  • Acquiring additional skills and expertise necessary for the day-to-day operations in the pilot plant;
  • Be a link between pilot plant areas creating synergy.

We believe you have

 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in food engineer (preferred), chemistry engineer or related field;
  • 3+ years of work experience in a production and/or R&D environment;
  • Experience and knowledge in food industry’s technologies;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (specially Excel);
  • Knowledge in Processes equipment, quality control, good manufacturing practices (GMP);
  • Good communication skills with peers, stakeholders and specially internal & external customers;
  • English intermediate – desirable;
  • Customer Success Driven.
