Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated professional to join our Customer Issue Resolution team as Food Protection Associate. In this key role, you will act as a technical expert and advisor, supporting the resolution of complex food safety and quality issues by coordinating activities, monitoring performance, and providing strategic recommendations. Your expertise and support will be instrumental in resolving escalated issues, delivering food protection services, and fostering a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
You will support the delivery of food protection services, contribute to risk assessments, and ensure compliance with hygienic and aseptic standards during critical phases such as equipment installations and product launches. This position is ideal for professionals who are looking to grow within Tetra Pak along a technical career path, with opportunities to deepen their expertise and influence quality and safety outcomes across the value chain.
This position will be based in Brazil, preferably in Monte Mor, Sao Paulo.
You will be travelling around 50% of your time.
Tetra Pak does not offer work visa or relocation support for this role.

What you will do
As Food Protection Associate you will:
- Lead/participate to resolve escalated issues remotely and on-site by properly applying there solution process, tools and methodologies and by completing activity reports in timely way;
- Lead delivery of food protection services, support Key Account and Business Development teams in business opportunity analysis and participate in development of new services;
- Provide product, safety, quality, hygienic and aseptic specific expertise during pre-project, installations and new products introduction and provide feedback to development organization when appropriate;
- Build and maintain technical network on cluster and global level by continuously developing own competence, mentoring and coaching other specialists and training relevant Tetra Pak staff in the area of food protection;
- Drive Quality Culture;
- Support and participate in food safety risk assessment.
We believe you have
- Bachelor degree within Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar areas;
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and quality management systems and Customers Relationship;
- Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance within the food and beverage industry;
- Familiarity with aseptic processing, hygienic design, and cleaning validation is highly desirable.
- Fluent English (Spanish is desirable);
- High knowledge in Microbiology;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively interact with internal teams, customers, and auditors;
- Willingness to travel up to 50-60% of the time, mostly within Brazil and Latin America.
