Job Summary
In PSE Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration, we are looking for a Test Engineer who will be accountable for assembling, wiring, testing, and disassembling of Capital Equipment Filling Machines. In this role, you will be an individual contributor for standard routines accomplishment in according with defined procedures and the development journey includes an increasing link and collaboration with colleagues from D&T and Tetra Pak Service with the aim of improving testing method based on feedback from the field as well as feeding D&T development projects with “Early” input.
The machine systems focus will be Ready to Fill and Tube filling systems (ex. Tetra Pak/A3, Tetra Pak/E3, etc)
This is a permanent position based in Modena (MO), Italy.
What you will do
As Test Engineer, you will:
- Secure Functional Performances of equipment according to official specifications
- Identify, log and solve basic and complex technical problems both in Mechanical and Automation areas
- Contribute to capital equipment production performance indicators
- Support continuous improvement of equipment testing methods according to World Class Manufacturing methodology, and in integration with both suppliers, D&T and installation teams.
- Contribute to secure formal documentation of operational instructions for internal use
- Contribute to joint activities with D&T and colleagues with the aim of contributing to Vertical Startup of equipment reaching customer sites.
We believe you have
- You could have a background as a Test Engineer with previous experience from any kind of filling system, in standard production, in testing area and/or D&T project, wanting to work with our exciting future development steps and technologies in a flexible, creative environment.
- We expect you to have competences in automation, mechanical, mechatronics background area.
- You could also come from a Field Service background wanting to use your system expertise without the demands of extensive travelling.
- As a person, you are a creative problem solver with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and align to decisions made. As you will work with shifting types of tests as well as people. You have good communication skills and the ability to work in groups and to create strong professional relations with different level of stakeholders, exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals.
- Good collaboration skills are therefore important. Our Test Factory and the result of our work will highly benefit from your proactive approach and improvement suggestions.
- A good command of English, both written and oral is required.
