Job Summary
Are you ready to take the challenge to become a Project Manager at Tetra Pak?
We are looking for passionate professional to join our Programme Management team within R&D department.
In this role you will oversee the entire lifecycle of complex projects and products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with Tetra Pak innovation strategy.
This is a permanent position based in Modena (Italy) and will report to a Programme Manager. The candidate is expected to travel up to 10-15% of the working time.
What you will do
In this position your main responsibilities will be:
- Leading Projects: Define, communicate and manage project goals, timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring they meet stakeholder requirements.
- Planning & Execution: Create and implement project plans, breaking them into manageable tasks and assigning roles to team members.
- Governance management: Prepare and present project updates to the governance forums, ensuring timely communication and full alignment to all organisation levels
- Quality Assurance: Define, plan and manage systematic quality activities to meet project requirements through employing necessary processes, methods and tools
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with and align internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.
- Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Procurement & Contracts: Oversee supplier selection and ensure contracts align with project objectives.
- Team Leadership: Build, motivate, and support a cross-functional team to achieve project success
We believe you have
We’re looking for someone with strong project management experience, leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.
Education & Language Skills:
- Master’s degree in a technical or management field.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Professional Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in project management, ideally in innovation, product development, or industrialization processes with budget responsibility.
- Experience working with PMI standards and Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, using informal authority to influence and manage expectations.

- Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: You take ownership of your projects and ensure objectives are met even in a changing environment and without having the full picture available.
- Detail-Oriented & Strategic Thinker: You can dive into the details while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
- Strong Communicator: You excel at motivating teams and engaging stakeholders. You align and manage stakeholders prior and during governance meetings. The messages you share are smooth and effective, both written and verbal.
- Adaptable: You can pivot quickly when business needs change. You understand the reasons for change, and you are effective in sharing and motivating the team with the new requests.
- Negotiation Skills: You’re confident managing discussions and contracts
