Job Summary

 

In PSE Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration in Packaging Equipment Production, Industrial Engineering we are now looking for a Production Engineer in Modena Production Engineering team.
You will be dealing with equipment manufacturing end-to-end process and equipment under renovation, new and under development.
This ranges from product development to supplier manufacturing and from first line support to interaction with customer (technical issues and Final Test Participation).

This is a permanent position based in Modena-Italy.
 

What you will do

  • Drive renovation equipment process tasks from inspection to definition of configuration to be transferred to supplier and follow-up. 
  • Contributing to defect free industrialization of new and certified renovated equipment (Product Development and Product Life Cycle projects), driving the relevant supply chain readiness criteria, and securing their deliverables prior release to customer
  • Adding value to our customer supporting customization of equipment, taking part in Final Test Participation with customers, 
  • Drive technical issues resolution during equipment testing, at supplier and in internal production, so to grant deliveries on time and in quality to customers.
  • Contribute to ECM introduction at suppliers and internal production sites. 
  • Support on industrialization activities. 
  • Contributing with your ideas to improving the production systems (suppliers and internal production) focusing on integration and improvement of test and validation criteria, including equipment for simulation, with a full line and early management approach to the supply chain from supplier, through internal production, to customer
  • Manage stakeholder interaction with the relevant internal and external organizations like D&, E, SuM, SQ, Services, MC.

We believe you have

  • A Master’s degree or high technical school diploma on mechanical, mechatronics, or others, combined with 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • WCM methodology knowledge is preferred, and you are skilled in English and Italian, both written and spoken. 
  • To be successful in this role you are customer centric and understand the overall picture of our business.
  • You are goal oriented with good change management skills and drive towards agreed directions. At the same time, you are cooperative and have strong communication and networking skills.
