Job Summary
We are looking for a production engineer. This position will build a daily prioritization base on production needs and the current situation, as well as provide support and training to newcomers.
This position will be based in the Mexicali, Baja California plant and will report to the Production Manager
Tetra Pak does not sponsor work or relocation visas for this position.
What you will do
As Production Engineer you will:
- Build a daily prioritization base on production needs and the current situation.
- Be a pillar of support in terms of achieving KPIs/targets.
- Promote World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities, especially in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) tasks with your day-to-day work team.
- Be a pillar of support in terms of execution of KAIs (Key Activity Indicator)
- Provide training and develop new employees.
- Management of the SAP system and internal systems (Business expert PRODETIQ)
- Management of production orders (end to end)
- Waste reconciliation to assure accurate information
We believe you have
- Bachelor's degree or engineering, (industrial, mechanical, electronics or similar).
- Intermediate-advanced level of English; proficient in Spanish language.
- Minimum experience of 1 year in the position or related position
- It is desirable to have carried out social service or professional internships in manufacturing companies and/or production areas.
- Skills: assertive communication, organization, analysis, adherence to processes
- Microsoft office experience (particularly Excel database management)
- Nice to knowledge in Power BI
- Willingness to growth and develop your professional career in production area as supervisor
