Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians in machinery troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the implementation of effective corrective measures. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall reliability of the equipment within the corresponding processes through the planning, direction, and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology
The position is based in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and report to Factory Director
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do

As Maintenance Manager you will:

 

  • Overall reliability of equipment of respective processes through planning, directing and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians for machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and effective counter measure.
  • Be responsible for waste reduction
  • Drive innovation to improve energy consumption and better machine ergonomics for operators’ safety.
  • Plan of the shift team and ensure sufficient manning.
  • Lead in the appraisal of the technicians and team.
  • Responsible of the Utilities & Projects departments of the factory.
  • Collaborating in cross projects with other areas like: production, quality, warehouse, planning and logistics, WCM, etc.

We believe you have

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical and Automation maintenance.
  • Proven experience working with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) / Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance, Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM).
  • Forecast and cost management experience.
  • Project Management skills.
  • People manage at least 40 people, with 3 years’ experience as minimum.
  • Food safety knowledge is a plus.
