Job Summary

We are now looking for a Maintenance Manager to provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians for machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and effective counter measure. In this role, you will be responsible of overall reliability of equipment of respective process through planning, directing and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, through the use of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Methodology. 
The position is based in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position. 

What you will do

As Maintenance Manager you will:

  • Overall reliability of equipment of respective process through planning, directing and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians for machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and effective counter measure.
  • Drive innovation to improve energy consumption and better machine ergonomics for operators’ safety.
  • Plan of the shift team and ensure sufficient manning.
  • Lead in the appraisal of the technicians and team.
  • Responsible of the Utilities & Projects departments of the factory.

We believe you have

  • 5 - 7 years of experience as Maintenance Engineer.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's in engineering degree: Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or related.
  • Experience leading people, administrative and operative teams
  • Knowledge in predictive maintenance, Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM).
  • Proven experience working with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) / Continuous Improvement methodologies of at least 4 years.
  • Forecast and costs management experience.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience working with ISO 9000, 18000, 14000 and 22,000.
  • Food safety knowledge is a plus.
