Internship Program 2026
The Tetra Pak Internship Programme aims to develop the potential talent of students through experience of real situations in the corporate world, offering them opportunities to develop on a personal and professional level. Our approach prepares new talent to face their next professional challenges. Upon joining our team, the intern will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany them in their day-to-day life. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare new interns and kick-start the development of their full potential.
The position is based in Mexicali, Mexico.
Tetra Pak does not sponsor work or relocation visas for this position.
What you will do
As a Production Process Intern you will:
- Support in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) activities, including loss identification and process standardization.
- Analysis of efficiency and total waste in the production area.
- Collection and uploading of information into systems for the Loss Guide Line.
- Participation in the implementation of operational training for plant personnel.
Bachelor Studies in progress: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Automation, Materials Engineer or related
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office Intermediate (Excel)
- Power BI, SAP is a plus
- Intermediate English – Can communicate fluently, with strong skills in both written and spoken English.
- Technical profile with strong execution orientation, ability to communicate effectively, team collaboration skills and data analysis competencies.
As a Materials Control Intern, you will:
- Reclassification of materials extended to the plant that are not in use.
- Restructuring of physical materials and their correspondence in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) system – SAP.
- Creation of a digital catalog of materials with their respective physical identification.
- Understanding and application of material classification, both in its basic form and within the SAP system.
- Restructuring materials according to the equipment and configuration of the platform, physically and systemically.
- Implementation of a catalog to speed up searches, facilitate the identification of materials and avoid duplication in the system.
Bachelor Studies in progress: Engineering Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office (Excel Intermediate)
- Microsoft VBA (Visual Basic) programming is a plus
- SAP is desirable
- Intermediate – Can hold basic conversations and has strong reading and writing skills.
- Profile with skills for teamwork, effective communication, analytical thinking and self-taught learning.
