As a Service Engineer, you will be part of our Customer Service Operations team, working directly at customer sites to keep essential food processing and packaging lines running reliably. Your work contributes to ensuring uninterrupted food production — a vital link in global food systems that support hundreds of millions of consumers every day. You will operate as an individual contributor, partnering closely with customer teams and internal experts to secure equipment performance, minimize downtime, and strengthen long‑term customer trust.

You will be based in Mendoza, Argentina.
You may be required to travel to customer sites up to 85% of your time, primarily within Mendoza, with occasional travel to other provinces in Argentina.

What you will do
As a Service Engineer you will:
- Work directly at customer sites to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, resolve technical issues, and support equipment installations;
- Evaluate equipment performance and escalate more complex problems through the appropriate operational processes;
- Train customer operators and contribute to improving day to day production efficiency;
- Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders — including customer teams, Tetra Pak colleagues, and external contractors — to ensure smooth coordination and a high‑quality service experience;
- Support the monitoring of service contracts and identify opportunities that enhance service delivery while managing stakeholder expectations effectively;
- Ensure adherence to safety practices, food quality requirements, and reporting standards;
- Represent Tetra Pak with professionalism, sharing practical suggestions that help improve customer operations and the overall service experience;
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment;
- Follow all safety protocols in alignment with OHS regulations and Tetra Pak’s internal standards, fostering a strong safety culture in every activity.
We believe you have
- A background in Industrial Systems, Automation, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
- Up to 3 years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles, or equivalent hands on exposure through technical training or practical projects;
- A solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, or automation principles, with familiarity in areas such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) or similar;
- The ability and willingness to travel extensively to customer sites as required for the role, up to 85% of the time;
- Intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is ideal but not mandatory. Candidates with this skill may benefit from training opportunities and potential international exposure.
- A valid drivers license;
- A proactive, customer first mindset, with strong problem solving abilities, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
