Job Summary
You will be a finance professional who is comfortable with interacting with people both in and outside of finance function, across different levels of the organization, and work with key stakeholders such as the Services Director, Finance Director, Sales Managers, etc. As a Business Controller at Tetra Pak, you will use your finance and analytical skills primarily to support key stakeholders on financial insight, oversee areas of analysis, and to financially support the overall Services business.
The position is based in Melbourne, Australia.
What you will do
As a Business Controller you will:
• Prepare timely and standardised monthly / quarterly business performance reports.
• Perform detailed variance analysis (e.g. for products/services/customer/category).
• Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses, and revenues, making recommendations to senior management.
• Collect, compile, verify and analyse financial information and economic indicators.
• Be the main financial business partner for Finance Director and Service Director of the market and other Services organisation stakeholders.
• Analyse the financial implications of business cases, pricing simulations and other transactions so that stakeholders can evaluate alternatives against the business objectives
• Take part in annual financial planning and forecasting process.
• Ensure policies and guidelines are followed and reporting is complaint with FRM.
We believe you have
• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance
• 5 years of experience in similar roles, with preference to multinational companies
• High level of flexibility, analytical and detail skills
• Strong IT skills (MS Office, SAP, BO) Business Object, Power BI
• Good command of English, both oral and written
• You should be able to work cross countries and be independent and autonomous
