Job Summary

We are looking for a Material Planner to join our Planning Hub, responsible for ensuring end-to-end material availability while optimizing inventory levels and supporting reliable supply performance.

In this role, you will manage material planning activities by analyzing demand and consumption patterns, executing MRP, maintaining planning parameters, monitoring inventory and supplier performance, and proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks.

Beyond day-to-day planning, we are looking for someone with a digital and continuous improvement mindset, capable of identifying opportunities to simplify and automate planning processes. Experience with scripting, Power Apps, Power BI, advanced Excel or similar automation and analytics tools will be highly valued.

You will work in a collaborative and multicultural Planning Hub environment, interacting with suppliers, Production Planning, Procurement and other Supply Chain stakeholders.

This position is based in Monte Mor - SP, Brazil.

What you will do

As a Material Planner, you will:

•    Ensure material availability according to production requirements while maintaining healthy inventory levels.
•    Analyze demand, consumption trends, inventory coverage and material requirements to anticipate potential shortages or excess inventory.
•    Execute and analyze MRP outputs, translating system recommendations into appropriate planning actions.
•    Maintain and optimize material master data and planning parameters, including safety stock, lot sizes, lead times and other relevant parameters.
•    Communicate forecasts and requirements to suppliers and follow up on purchase orders and deliveries.
•    Monitor local, imported and in-transit materials to identify potential supply risks.
•    Proactively identify shortages and supply constraints and coordinate mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with Production Planning, Procurement, Logistics, suppliers and other functions to respond to demand or schedule changes.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning or a related Supply Chain role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of:
    Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    Inventory management
    Safety stock and planning parameters
    Demand and consumption analysis
    Supplier and purchase order follow-up
    Supply risk and shortage management
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with one or more digital/automation technologies such as: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Python or other scripting languages, SQL or similar data extraction/manipulation tools.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, Lean or Kaizen initiatives is considered a plus.
  • Languages: English and Spanish are considered a strong plus, particularly for collaboration in a regional Planning Hub environment
