Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated professional who will support master data operations by executing standardized maintenance activities and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established processes. In this role, you will contribute to operational excellence through timely execution of requests, data validation, and support of data quality initiatives while developing expertise in Master Data Management.
The position is based in Panama City, Panama.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Master Data Associate, you will:
- Execute master data maintenance activities according to established procedures, policies and service level agreements.
- Create, update, extend and block master data records across assigned business processes and systems.
- Review and validate requests to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with master data standards.
- Perform routine data quality checks and identify inconsistencies in master data records.
- Support data cleansing activities and correction of identified data quality issues.
- Execute standard mass updates and recurring maintenance activities following approved procedures.
- Handle routine master data requests and resolve issues within documented guidelines.
- Escalate complex master data issues, exceptions and policy-related decisions to the Master Data Expert.
- Collaborate with requestors, approvers and business users to clarify requirements and ensure accurate execution of requests.
- Prepare operational reports and perform basic data analysis to support team activities.
- Maintain documentation and audit records related to master data activities.
- Participate in testing, process improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Contribute to achieving team service, quality and productivity KPIs through accurate and timely execution.
We believe you have
- Currently studying the last two years of University or a Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Administration or Finance
- Previous internship experience, academic projects, or up to 1 year of professional experience in data analysis, business operations, shared services, customer service or administrative processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP is considered an advantage.
- Master Data experience is considered a plus.
- Intermediate to Advanced English.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a process-driven environment and follow established procedures.
- Flexibility to support a global service organization operating across different shifts.
