Job Summary
Within Development & Technology, the Equipment Engineering department has full responsibility for all Tetra Pak packaging lines: it holds the ownership of technical specification for all the filling machines and downstream equipment from early technology innovation to product life-cycle activities.

We are now looking for a senior Technical Product Owner, to be responsible for the technical specification of assigned equipment and act as the technical expert and be part of the development of long-term plans in own business area. Most likely the equipment will be the one of our filling machines, for instance Tetra Top TT/3.
You will belong to a line organization with other TPO’s assigned to other products. Most of the daily work is however in the D&T Program Environment with the engineers delivering the solutions such as Scrum Teams and SSO’s, in the Technical Solution governance team and with the Program Team.
What you will do
In this role you will:
- Own Equipment Specification and approve changes securing development activities fulfil relevant system requirements
- Provide a strong technical guidance to an extended community of Scrum Teams, SSO’s and Program Team
- Decide of Equipment Technical Maturity in technical governance forums based on information provided by scrum teams
- Participate in program team and solution governance representing assigned machine system
- Lead feasibility and impact analysis of new development requests in program backlog and project definition
- Drive Early Innovation needs for the assigned product, active in prioritization and coordination of Technology Know How from Equipment Engineering and Automation & Digital
You will be asked to:
- Participate in the translation of the stakeholder needs and requirements into technical solutions
- Lead assigned equipment architecture design
- Lead assigned equipment integration of the complete technical solution
- Lead assigned equipment configuration management
- Lead new technology integration into assigned equipment
- Lead complex technical trade-offs between subsystems or requirements when necessary
- Lead assigned equipment performance monitoring
- Sign off on verification and validation of performance at equipment level
We believe you have
- Educational background with a Master of Science within Mechanical/Mechatronic/Automation engineering
- Very good command of English, both written and verbal
- At least 5 years of experience in complex technology development for example in a filling machine including knowledge of PLM, change management and machine design
- Extensive experience in Tetra Pak filling machines is highly meriting
Your personality is the key to our common success! We believe that you are a team player with good communication skills and are good at building effective relationships with others such as scrum teams, SSO’s, program team and line managers. From time to time you will form and lead teams/task forces to effectively make progress in various areas. Mainly within D&T but sometimes also with market companies and customers. You have a strong technical lead and like to handle the high complexity within technologies, business critically and stakeholder management.
