Job Summary
Within the Finance & Supplier Management, Supplier Management is the purchasing function responsible for sourcing, contracting and managing the supplier base for Tetra Pak Processing and Packaging Solutions. We are also responsible for purchasing capability growth, direct supplier management, and development of Global Purchasing Category Strategies. Supplier Management also supports all Processing Solutions & Equipment projects and installations, securing the seamless delivery of integrated offerings. The Supplier Management team ensures that we have a high performing supplier base and clear category strategies covering all Tetra Pak businesses, Packaging, Processing and Services.
We are now looking for a Supplier Manager who will be responsible for a number of suppliers, taking an active part in the development and execution of our global category strategy of Third-Party Equipment.
The position is temporary to cover a parental leave until end of December 2026 and can be located in Lund, Sweden or Modena, Italy.
Your scope will have a global reach with frequent interactions with global & local stakeholders. You will travel around 20% of your time.
What you will do
In the role as Supplier Manager you will work in close collaboration with our business stakeholders, our different supplier management functions and our suppliers.
You will focus on:
- Align target and priorities with Business and key functions to support Tetra Pak business growth & profitability.
- Execute strategic sourcing projects, support stakeholders in project delivery as well as manage supplier contracts and performance.
- Manage supplier base by applying all Supplier management processes to secure compliance with Tetra Pak procedures.
- Within your responsibilities, you will secure the achievement of KPIs related to quality, cost and delivery of the supply base.
- Contribute to portfolio enhancement by integrating third-party solutions into our offering.
We believe you have
- A university degree within Engineering or Economics
- 3-5 years of experience in supplier management or procurement in an international global context
- Strong negotiation skills and you have proven track records of Supplier management activities in sourcing, contracting, negotiations and strategy executions.
- A previous experience in the food packaging and/or food processing industry will be considered a plus.
- You have a very good command in English, both written and verbal.
Skills that will make you stand Out: experience in process engineering, partner integration or portfolio integration.
