Job Summary
Tetra Pak Processing Systems AB sells and delivers customised food lines and plants within the food industry to customers worldwide. We supply our solutions through a worldwide network of market companies. Supplier Management is responsible for the Tetra Pak supplier base globally and leads and manage the sourcing, contracting and supplier base management activities.
We are now looking for a Supplier Manager in the Lund site team that will have a high level of responsibility for suppliers for Liquid food solutions and our Key components. The supplier base in scope delivers mainly in the area of casting and machining.
This is a permanent position, based in Lund, Sweden but there is a high need to cooperate with colleagues in the global arena.
What you will do
In the role as Supplier Manager you will work in close collaboration with our business stakeholders, to manage and execute strategic sourcing projects, spend & market analysis and manage our supplier base. You will be responsible for a number of suppliers, mainly within the machining & sheet metal area. On top of this supplier responsibility, you will also have an extended role internally to represent supplier management in various forums on different strategic levels.
More specific you will focus on:
- Secure supply activities and mitigating risks in the supply chain
- Secure performance in terms of delivery, quality and cost
- Lead and mange sourcing and contracting activities
- Develop and maintain relationships externally and internally and act as a business partner towards stakeholders
- Have and end-to-end Supplier management process understanding and secure early involvement with stakeholders
- Support and actively participate in development projects
- Represent Supplier management in different internal forums and navigate the internal, sometimes political, landscape
- Professionally present and argue around the supplier management role and responsibilities
- Be the prolonged arm of the site manager
We believe you have
We will focus on finding the right personality to fit in the team, in the stakeholder landscape and having the right level of strategic mindset for the tasks described above.
- A university degree within Economics or Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in strategic procurement or equivalent strategic position
- Excellent proven skills in strategic stakeholder management
- Very high presentation competence, both verbally and digitally
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to break silos and work effectively as a team player, driving change through informal leadership
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Have personality that is collaborative and smooth, but still can deliver the needs and demands from supplier management
- Strong IT skills, experience in SAP, Excel and Ariba will be an extra advantage
- Fluent in Swedish & English, both written and spoken (main scope is smaller Swedish suppliers)
