Job Summary
The role of Master Data Responsible demands a meticulous and quality-focused approach to data entry, along with the flexibility to provide ad hoc support to the organization. This position offers extensive interaction with both local and external sites and personnel. As a Master Data Responsible within the Global Master Data Team, you will join a team of 10 members based in Lund. The team is responsible for creating and maintaining the material master data essential for the organization.
Your primary responsibility will be to classify articles within our UNSPSC classification system and maintain these articles/materials. You will thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment where your personality can influence your expertise in Master Data. This area is continuously evolving, as the business recognizes the increasing need for high-quality master data, presenting new areas to address and exciting topics to implement.
What you will do
- Collect Material Master Data
- Check if requested data is correct
- Ownership, Weight, Denomination, Manufacturer & Manufacturer ID
- Legal Demands (mpFC, ECCN etc.)
- Confirm Request in MDG tool
- Request clarification from Approver / Requester
- Reject request and inform Requester about reason
- Review default data for relevance
- Secure that all relevant master data is correct
- Trouble shoot on various master data issues from different department
- Create client data from MDG requests
We believe you have
- Good administrative and analytical skills
- Basic level of technical vocabulary
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Relevant experience within master data management area
- Experience with global business IT system
- Familiarity with SAP
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Fluent level of English and Swedish
- Being open to ideas and concept, also comfortable to communicate and engage
- Strong team mindset: being ready to be a part of an international team
