Line Solution Manager Business Stream New Food

Job Summary

The Business Stream New Food within Tetra Pak Processing Equipment has a global role in driving projects to build processing solutions for New Food production. Many of our projects are complex and run together with customers, start-ups, industrial partners, and/or universities. The team's specialists support Tetra Pak market- and product companies with technology expertise in commercial projects.

Do you want to be part of transforming the food industry into the future? We are looking for a Line Solution Manager who will develop new conceptual lines for processing solutions and help us develop better technical solutions for food applications based on biomass- and precision fermentation. 

The position is permanent and based in Lund and will include some travelling.

What you will do

As line solution manager, you will be part of the New Food Business Stream where you drive activities and participate with your knowledge in building line solutions and support our commercial projects with knowledge and expertise in upstream- and downstream processing solutions for New Food production. You will identify and develop new technical solutions and concepts, in cooperation with other team members.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and build conceptual line solutions to be used in quotations and order executions.
• Drive and perform activities related to New Food application development including portfolio development and technology road map creation.
• Provide technical support to our sales organization during the pre-sale stage and through implementation to the start of commercial operation. Lead and participate in technical discussions with customers.
• Drive communication and cooperation with Tetra Pak colleagues within the department and categories within our business sectors (e.g., Dairy, Food, Beverages, Ice cream, Powder and Cheese) as well as with our sales organisation.
• Conduct analyses, evaluate, interpret data and make recommendations
• Make technical solutions in line with Tetra Pak Strategy, standards, guidelines, tools, and methods for process design.

We believe you have

• MSc or PhD degree in Biotechnology-, Chemical-, Food-, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of proven experience from bioprocess-, dairy-, beverage- or pharmaceutical industry with a focus on process engineering design and customer project implementation.
• Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing platforms and an ability to draw, read, and understand a process and instrumentation diagram (PID).
• Previous experience from developing and designing production lines for precision fermentation and/or biomass fermentation is a strong plus.
• Work experience from the food industry is considered advantageous.
• A strong ability to understand and translate customer needs into commercially sustainable solutions.
• Strong communication-, planning-, and leadership skills, with the ability to solve problems consistently and with a desire to deliver as a team.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
