Job Summary

We are now looking for a Laboratory Expert to join our Central Microbiology team. The position is based in Lund as part of a team located both in Sweden and Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for running and maintaining the Microbiological laboratory. 

What you will do

  • Laboratory maintenance (ordering consumables, equipment maintenance follow-up, media preparation and similar),
  • Chemical, OHS & Safety responsibility,
  • Communicate with internal end external stakeholders about orders and test results,
  • Support with analysis Technology Know How and Product Development activities,
  • Rig management and test execution,
  • Test method management,
  • Culture stock maintenance,
  • Participate in, and lead minor, development and improvement of laboratory capabilities.

We believe you have

  • As a person, you are expected to be accurate and quality minded.
  • You should be open to try new methods and tasks and like to be part of a multidisciplinary environment.
  • You hold a Laboratory Analyst degree within Microbiology, Biotechnology or similar and have minimum 2 years of experience running a laboratory.
  • You have excellent communication skills in Swedish, both written and verbal. A good level of English is also expected from you.
