Job Summary

Do you consider yourself a leader, not a follower? Are you the next engaged Global Expert - Mechanical Engineering  (called Global Expert B internally at Tetra Pak) who will drive systems development at Tetra Pak?

We are seeking a new colleague, an engaged Mechanical Engineering Expert who can take a leading role in developing and deploying our new PDM & CAD system solution at Tetra Pak.

In this role, you will map and analyze the current Mechanical Engineering setup and propose a future solution with new features and best practices in mind. You will ensure that the technical maturity of the solution evolves according to requirements and assess and transform additional business demands raised by business streams into functional and technical requirements.

This permanent position is based in Lund, Sweden, with stakeholders and team members spread around the globe.

What you will do

- Drive and deploy the appointed capability area globally, ensuring that Tetra Pak organizations have the right level of knowledge and competence by providing best practices through coaching and support.

- Develop and continuously improve processes, procedures, standards, and tools, along with associated training material, and deliver training to our end users, including certification.

- Lead requirements management, including translating business needs into requirements.

- Define the system under development and establish verification and validation strategies together with relevant stakeholders.

- Ensure complete and up-to-date technical documentation of the solutions in your area.

- Participate in demos to validate new solutions defined by other parts of the organization.

- Participate in identifying additional/new business demands (use cases and requirements).

- Document additional/new business demands (prepare use cases and requirements).

- Communicate and interact with various business stakeholders.

- Document business demands and requirements.

To be successful in this senior position, you must demonstrate solid leadership skills. As the Mechanical Engineering Expert, you will integrate across scrum teams and outside the development program, acting as a role model for your colleagues.

To be successful in this position, you have experience with complex systems and processes, PTC Windchill, CAD, and product configuration, and you are curious about the interaction between technology and business development.

We believe you have a university degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a mechanical engineering and design role. You have documented experience in Systems Engineering methodologies and are fluent in speaking and writing English.
