Description

Tetra Pak Straw Business, part of Supply Chain Operations Additional Materials; develops, produce and supply wrapped drinking straws our portion package customers worldwide. We are 12 factories, roughly 350 people, supplying annually 25 Billons straws globally. We use straw production equipment developed and managed by Tetra Pak, manufactured by suppliers. We aim to further improve our supply of straw production equipment and spare parts for our straw factories; across dimensions of availability, quality, cost and lead-times. 

The operator position performs all task involved in the production of the company’s products (straws).  The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Test products for quality assurance.
•    Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or products.
•    Collect and weigh waste in correctly labelled barrels or other containers.
•    Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
•    Prepare and assemble materials.
•    Change film.
•    Place finished goods on designated pallets 
•    Attach appropriate labels to products.
•    Fill out paperwork accurately and consistently.
•    Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
•    Track production on Daily Management Board.
•    Write tags for any operational, mechanical, safety, or environmental anomaly.
•    Maintain a clean and safe work area.
•    Understands cell board.  Able to perform 5 why analysis.

 

Qualifications

•    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
•    Dependability and reliability
•    Good verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
•    Ability to lift 50 lbs
•    Ability to operate and maintain equipment in manufacturing environment

Main Purpose of the Job

To produce as per given methods learning WCM methods and Quality parametersAcquire the skills to maintain the machines as per AM

Key Responsibilities

1. Follow production safety rules2. Work according to existing procedures/ Standards3. Execute basic AM (Autonomous Maintenance) operations  CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication)4. Define anomalies and put tags5. Conduct basic/elementary quality tests6. Create OPls and SOPs

Critical Experience

Fresh from techncial school and having no expereince. Basic technical production process knowledge Basic technical skills - to be able pass technical test Attentiveness to be details to identify Quality parameters Ability to learn fast and discipline to follow process  Basic knowledge of MS Office

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent  Technical education to follow basic Tetra Pak work routines and standards.
