Job Summary

We are looking for an automation and system engineer to work in our Lisbon plant under maintenance team and will be responsible for the different process to add value and make visible growth in maintenance area.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement automation systems to improve production efficiency.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in automation systems, and improve our local systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate automation solutions.
  • Train the maintenance team on new technologies and procedures.
  • Lead improvement initiatives within the scope of World Class Manufacturing (WCM).

We believe you have

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related area to build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.
  • Knows fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures as theoretical knowledge and still requires formal training related to the following skills areas:
    • Motion and Control
    • HMI
    • Electrical Design
    • Plant Integration
    • System Infrastructure
    • Line Control
    • Line Integration
  • Experience in PLC PC based systems, knowledge of object-oriented languages (e.g., C++, Visual Basic), knowledge of database technology, and knowledge of distributed applications (Internet of Things).
  • Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
