Job Summary

We are seeking a new colleague to join the supplier management organization at Tetra Pak. Together with your team you will be part of the work to optimize supplier base delivering according to overall strategy and in line with performance expectations and set KPI´s. 
Main objective for this role is for you to be responsible for supplier management for base/preferred suppliers. Work with Request For Quotation (RFQ), negotiation, contract management. Analysis of suppliers, competition, benchmark, spend etc. Responsible for supplier management in line with strategy, process and KPIs for assigned suppliers.
This is a permanent position based in Le May-Sur-Evre, France. 

What you will do

In this role you will be responsible for external strategic/preferred suppliers. Central/global counter parts within Supplier Management. Local business stakeholders. Legal and finance.

In more details you will:

  • Identify suppliers, drive sourcing and contacting based on business need in line with supplier management strategies
  • Drives compliance to category strategy, supplier base plan, supplier management processes, supplier assessment, contracts and best practices.
  • Participates in target setting, follow-up and corrective action, lead improvement plan with suppliers
  • Ensures correct usage of relevant tools
  • Develops and maintains strong stakeholder management relationships. Communicates results and acts as a proactive Business Partner
  • Shares good practices and facilitate networking on site
  • Management of Mechanical subcontractors
  • Co-write a specification list with technical team.
  • Understand and analyze a mechanical drawing. Secure awareness of relevant risks, policies, and governance processes by identifying gaps and training needs.

We believe you have

  • A university degree within a relevant area.
  • Preferably international experience, and up to 8 years in sourcing contracting with a background in mechanical outsourcing (Sheet metal parts, machining)
  • It’s a benefit if you have experience from the food industry.
  • Its required that you speak French and English on an excellent level but good if you also know the Spanish language
  • Great skills in SAP
