Quality and accuracy are corner stones for our Payroll Services. Our Payroll team ensures that our employees receives payroll data timely and accurately.
We are looking to recruit a Local Payroll Associate who will be responsible for participating in the successful delivery of Payroll processes for the Swiss entities. You will be part of a team of Payroll Experts, reporting to the Payroll Team Leader Switzerland and Spain.
This is a temporary, part-time (50%) position located in Pully, Switzerland. We expect the duration for this job is 3 years of employment.

What you will do

  • Participate in payroll/post-payroll processes and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure proper updates are made in relevant local payroll system and participate in income tax related matters.
  • Support the payments, reports, and other requests from external labour entities as Tax Authorities, Social Security, Labour Ministry, Labour Courts, etc.
  • Responsible for managing all administrative tasks, including accident declarations, maternity and paternity daily allowance requests, social security registration, unemployment benefit forms, and AI (disability insurance) requests. Additionally, you will handle military service daily allowance claims, family allowance requests and other HR-related administrative processes in compliance with Swiss regulations.
  • Support the management of the Time and Attendance system
  • Manage, track and follow up on employee queries in the ticket handling system. Support building of a knowledge inventory of frequently asked questions to expedite resolution of queries accurately. Guide employees
  • and managers to find information on HR self-service intranet (ORBIS) to foster a habit of finding the necessary data on the portal.
  • Manage and ensure integrity of master data in the respective management system on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects where needed.
  • Administer and manage the e-filing of hardcopy documents (invoices, post mails, documents)

We believe you have

  • A qualified payroll professional with relevant education with at least 3 years of experience in Swiss Payroll area
  • You have good knowledge of the Swiss labor and industrial laws with strong experience in Swiss HR practices and taxation principles eg Swiss social security.
  • You have full fluency in English and French, German language skills count as advantage
  • You have strong capabilities in Microsoft Office (outstanding Excel skills is a must)

As a person you are a confident collaborator who likes to work with other but also working on your own. You are detail oriented and accurate person with proven data management and analytical skills. Furthermore, you are flexible, responsive and service minded person with high standards.
